She will continue to work under Karey Burke, executive VP of programming and development.<\/p>\n<p>McHoul Gatens previously served as senior VP of programming and development for unscripted at Freeform. Earlier in her career, she helped set up Nigel Lythgoe Productions. Before that, she worked for United Talent Agency and was head of development for the E! and Style networks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKary is one of the most facile, experienced and fearless executives I\u2019ve ever worked with, and I have no doubt that she will continue to be a game-changing leader for us as we grow our original programming slate,\u201d said Burke.<\/p>\n<p>McHoul Gatens added: \u201cI&#8217;m honored to be joining an already extraordinary team of executives, including Jennifer Gerstenblatt, who has been integral to the growth and success of our original series.
