The 6&#215;30-minute first season of <em>GameFace<\/em> will premiere on E4 in the U.K. later this year. It was created and written by Roisin Conaty\u00a0(<em>Life on the Road<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Live at the Apollo<\/em>), who also stars in the show. The series follows Marcella as she navigates her way through life, assisted by her dubious life-coach, best friends and ever-patient driving instructor. Marcella is on a mission to change her future for the better as she bounces back from a breakup, clings to her dreams of becoming an actress and finally learns to drive.<\/p>\n<p>The six-part series is made by Objective Fiction (<em>Fresh Meat<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Peep Show<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Witless<\/em>) and was ordered by C4 Comedy Commissioning Editor Rachel Springett. The executive producer for Objective is Ben Farrell, while the producer is Charlotte Lewis and the director is Andrew Chaplin. International sales were negotiated by all3media international.<\/p>\n<p>Conaty said: \u201cI&#8217;m really happy that\u00a0<em>GameFace<\/em>\u00a0will be airing on Hulu.\u00a0I&#8217;m so excited that an American audience is going to get a chance to see the show I&#8217;ve worked so hard on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Louise Pedersen, the CEO at all3media international, commented, \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to kick off our international sales for\u00a0<em>GameFace<\/em>\u00a0with this key presale to Hulu, a platform renowned for featuring innovative and original comedy content.
