He is expected to\u00a0explore opportunities to license Lionsgate&#8217;s filmed entertainment content in new markets and territories, while also identifying\u00a0film and television acquisitions that complement the company&#8217;s international slate.\u00a0In addition, he\u00a0will serve as the liaison for Starz&#8217;s continued integration into Lionsgate&#8217;s global distribution operations.<\/p>\n<p>George most recently served as executive VP of Starz Worldwide Distribution, where he licensed such original\u00a0series as <em>Spartacus<\/em>, <em>The White Queen <\/em>and <em>Power<\/em>.
