Domestic Television Distribution for more than 800 episodes from ABC&#8217;s classic TGIF lineup to stream on SVOD for the first time ever in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Hulu now holds the exclusive, streaming, SVOD rights in the U.S. to\u00a0all episodes\u00a0of iconic series\u00a0<em>Full House, Family Matters<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Step by Step<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Perfect Strangers <\/em>and <em>Hangin\u2019 with Mr. Cooper<\/em>. The pact will mark the streaming SVOD debut of the beloved Friday night lineup from the 1990s. The full lineup\u00a0will launch exclusively in the U.S.\u00a0on Hulu September 29, on the heels of the 30th anniversary of\u00a0<em>Full House<\/em>\u00a0and the 25th anniversary of\u00a0<em>Hangin\u2019 with Mr. Cooper<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese shows are more than just beloved hits, they were part of a cultural tradition to tune in every Friday night,\u201d said Craig Erwich, Hulu\u2019s senior VP of content. \u201cNow, it can be Friday any day of the week on Hulu.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this acquisition, Hulu is making available to their subscribers one of the most popular comedy blocks of programming ever,\u201d said Ken Werner, the president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. \u201cThese hit family comedies have entertained viewers for decades and will now be available on SVOD.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hulu also revealed that its original drama series <em>Harlots<\/em> has been picked up for a second season, returning in 2018. Additionally, a new documentary about the iconic Barbie doll will join the service\u2019s expanding slate of original docs.
