EVP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NBCUniversal has hired Laura Lee as executive VP of content, strategy and operations for its digital enterprises division, a newly created position that is effective June 19.<\/p>\n<p>Lee will lead the company\u2019s digital strategy while increasing the consumption, audience engagement and monetization of NBCU\u2019s content on existing and emerging platforms. She is also expected to\u00a0nurture existing partnerships with Snap, BuzzFeed and Vox. She will work out of New York under Maggie Suniewick, the president of NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Lee served as the president and chief digital officer of Margaritaville Media. She has also worked for YouTube and held a variety of business development, production and development posts\u00a0at MTV, VH1, Spike TV and Time Warner. She started her career as a media investment banker at J.P.
