The content Meraz and her team acquire will help support original programming for all of those brands, including the programming and brand evolutions at TNT and TBS. Meraz is based in Atlanta and reports to Michael Quigley, the executive VP of commercial operations, content strategy and monetization for TBS and TNT.<\/p>\n<p>Since joining Turner in 2012 as VP of program acquisitions, Meraz has provided her expertise during negotiations to license <em>Brooklyn Nine-Nine<\/em> for TBS, as well as a slate of blockbuster movies for TBS and TNT that includes Warner Bros.\u2019s <em>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice<\/em> and all of the upcoming DC Comics films, among others. In addition, Meraz has taken part in negotiating long-term deals for\u00a0<em>Family Guy<\/em>, <em>Bob&#8217;s Burgers<\/em>\u00a0and other series that help\u00a0support Adult Swim&#8217;s original programming lineup.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past five years, Valerie has built a highly effective acquisitions team that has been aggressively filling Turner&#8217;s library with valuable content and representing the company in an extremely\u00a0dynamic and rapidly changing marketplace,&#8221;
