UNIVERSAL CITY: The comedy The Good Place<\/em> has been given an order for a 13-episode second season by NBC.<\/p>\n In its freshman season, The Good Place<\/em> has averaged a 1.9 rating with\u00a0adults 18 to 49 and 6.1 million viewers overall in Live+7 Day figures from Nielsen Media Research. The series stars Ted Danson and Kristen Bell and comes from executive producer and creator Michael Schur.<\/p>\n \u201cMike Schur has always had one of the most fertile and imaginative minds in comedy, but what he brought us with the first season of The Good Place<\/em>\u00a0was just extraordinary,\u201d said Jennifer Salke, the president of NBC Entertainment. \u201cWe absolutely can\u2019t wait to see where these characters go, literally, in season two.
