BURBANK: Freeform has appointed Amit Ziv, who previously worked for EPIX, as\u00a0VP of strategy and business development.<\/p>\n

In his new post, Ziv will help evaluate and identify growth opportunities while developing new strategic business initiatives to improve the channel’s\u00a0revenue, expand\u00a0its\u00a0brand and leverage partnerships across platforms. He will collaborate with Tom Ascheim, Freeform’s president, and will oversee the network’s\u00a0annual planning processes. He will also advocate the business interests of Freeform throughout the Disney\/ABC Television Group.<\/p>\n

Previously, Ziv was the senior VP of business operations, development and strategy at EPIX. Earlier, he served as senior consultant for Ernst & Young\u2019s strategy and operations consulting practice. He began his career as the director of business development for Madwood Media\/Flutie Entertainment.<\/p>\n
