Yamamoto has been responsible for all aspects of business affairs related to scripted programming and specials airing on the network. These programs include <em>This Is Us<\/em>,<em> Timeless<\/em>, <em>The Blacklist<\/em>, the Golden Globe Awards and the rights deal for <em>Hairspray Live!<\/em> Yamamoto has more than 15 years of experience in the television industry. She most recently served as senior VP of business affairs for NBC Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Straus was appointed executive VP of business affairs for alternative\/reality and specials programming at NBC Entertainment and Universal Television Alternative Studio. Straus has been responsible for all aspects of business affairs in connection with the development and production of non-scripted programming ordered to production by the network and Universal Television Alternative Studio. This includes <em>The Voice<\/em>,<em> American Ninja\u00a0<\/em><em>Warrior<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The New Celebrity Apprentice<\/em>,\u00a0<em>America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>\u00a0and the new Jennifer Lopez dance competition series\u00a0<em>World of Dance<\/em>. Straus, who has more than 25 years of experience in the film and television industry, most recently served as senior VP of business affairs for NBC Entertainment and Universal Television Alternative Studio.<\/p>\n<p>Both Yamamoto and Straus have been part of NBC\u2019s legal or business affairs departments since 2000.
