The integration of Spotify into the app is meant to merge the music and video entertainment experience.<\/p>\n<p>Spotify Premium users will be able to log in and listen to full tracks, while free users will have the opportunity to listen to 30-second track previews. All users will be able to save and follow Spotify playlists from within the STARZ app. Customized Starz video recommendations will also be provided to Spotify users on the app based on their listening habits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStarz is thrilled to share plans to soon integrate Spotify\u2019s industry-leading streaming audio capabilities into the STARZ app,\u201d said Jeffrey Hirsch, chief operating officer at Starz. \u201cSpotify integration will complement and fortify the STARZ app\u2019s appeal for distributors and consumers alike.
