The first project to be produced under this new venture will be <em>Prodigal<\/em>, based on Todd Hoffman\u2019s original story and developed in collaboration with author and screenwriter Nathan Edmondson.<\/p>\n<p>Hoffman has teamed up television executive and producer Jose Behar (<em>Leverage<\/em>, <em>The Librarians<\/em>) to ignite scripted development at the company.<\/p>\n<p>Hoffman commented: \u201cAfter creating <em>Gold Rush<\/em> and spending thousands of hours on crafting entertaining and inspiring stories, as well as unforgettable characters on television, we are excited to launch Gold Standard TV to produce projects with the same worldwide appeal. As we launch the label with our scripted property <em>Prodigal<\/em>,\u00a0and the various pilots in our non-scripted slate, I am honored to be working alongside Jose Behar on building our company and taking these awesome projects to the marketplace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Behar added: \u201cI am thrilled to be joining the Hoffman crew on this new venture.
