Operating out of Los Angeles and New York, FilmBuff will be rebranded as Gunpowder &amp; Sky Distribution, and will be led by former FilmBuff CEO Janet Brown in her new role as executive VP of distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJanet and her team have a great track record as a collaborative, transparent and forward-looking distributor,\u201d said Floris Bauer, the president of Gunpowder &amp; Sky. \u201cWith the acquisition of FilmBuff we have now realized our early ambition of operating a soup-to-nuts studio, helping to bring to life the vision of our creative partners, and distribute and market content globally across platforms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to be part of Gunpowder &amp;
