Former 20th Century Fox TV executive Mandy Summers will serve as Fierce Baby\u2019s head of development. Together, Khan and Summers will manage the company\u2019s development slate and identify promising writers and projects for Khan to develop and supervise.<\/p>\n<p>Summers has worked at the studio since 2003, most recently as the VP of current programming, overseeing Khan\u2019s <em>Fresh Off the Boat<\/em> and <em>Don\u2019t Trust the B****<\/em>, as well as <em>Modern Family<\/em>, <em>How I Met Your Mother<\/em>\u00a0and <em>Bones<\/em>. During her tenure, she worked closely with creators such as Khan, Hart Hanson, Steve Levitan, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, as well as\u00a0directors Ian Toynton and Pam Fryman. She began her career at Alliance Atlantis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNahnatchka is a brilliant comedic mind who can write material that runs the gamut\u2014from projects as twisted and wickedly funny as her beloved <em>Don\u2019t Trust the B****<\/em> to the inspired and broadly appealing <em>Fresh Off the Boat<\/em>,\u201d commented Twentieth Century Fox Television\u2019s president of creative affairs, Jonnie Davis. \u201cWe\u2019ve been in business with her all the way back to the first season of <em>American Dad<\/em>, and if it\u2019s up to us, she\u2019ll never work anywhere else. She\u2019s both a spectacular talent and a dear friend to everyone at this studio, and we\u2019re thrilled she\u2019ll continue to create and develop new projects here for many years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Khan said: &#8220;I&#8217;ve been incredibly lucky to be at 20th for basically the entire run of my professional career.
