He will lead efforts to broaden the studio\u2019s new short-form digital content, using MGM\u2019s catalog as well as original content creation. Conroy will also be tasked with developing and expanding partnerships with major content brands for virtual and augmented reality experiences. In addition, he will be a strategic member of the team that is working on the company\u2019s faith-based and OTT efforts. Conroy will report to Mark Burnett, MGM\u2019s president of television and digital group.<\/p>\n<p>Conroy has worked in the digital space for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Univision\u2019s chief strategy and data officer, where he led efforts to identify priority growth initiatives and developed the company&#8217;s\u00a0big-data strategy. Prior to Univision, he spent eight years at AOL and has also worked at BMG Entertainment, CBS\/FOX Video and Leonard Monahan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019ve known Kevin for more than a decade and we have created some great innovative content together,\u201d said Burnett. \u201cI am thrilled that he is joining our team at MGM.
