{"id":7167,"date":"2016-07-12T12:03:37","date_gmt":"2016-07-12T16:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/showtime-in-five-year-output-deal-with-amblin\/"},"modified":"2016-07-12T12:47:30","modified_gmt":"2016-07-12T16:47:30","slug":"showtime-in-five-year-output-deal-with-amblin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/showtime-in-five-year-output-deal-with-amblin\/","title":{"rendered":"Showtime in Five-Year Output Deal with Amblin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES: Showtime Networks has locked in an exclusive output agreement with Amblin Partners, which covers the broadcast of select theatrical releases through 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The pact will see qualifying Amblin Entertainment, DreamWorks Pictures and Participant Media films theatrically released through December 2021 air across Showtime, The Movie Channel and Flix, as well as on Showtime multiplex channels and streaming services. The deal will include up to nine films annually produced under the Amblin Partners umbrella, up to six of which will be under the Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Pictures labels and up to three of which will be under the Participant Media label.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement extends the existing relationship between DreamWorks Pictures and Showtime Networks.
