LOS ANGELES: ITV Studios America has tapped Jerry Bruckheimer Television alum Michael Azzolino as its executive VP of creative affairs.<\/p>\n
Azzolino will take on the new role beginning June 13, overseeing development and current operations for the growing roster of scripted television programming produced by ITV Studios in the U.S. He will be based in Los Angeles and report to Philippe Maigret, the president of ITV Studios America.<\/p>\n
Most recently, Azzolino was the senior VP at Jerry Bruckheimer Television. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of new project development, pilots and current series production. He worked with the company\u2019s production partners, including Warner Bros. Television, CBS Television Studios and many broadcast, cable and streaming networks. His credits include series such as Lucifer<\/em>, the CSI<\/em> franchise, Hostages<\/em>, Without a Trace<\/em>, Cold Case<\/em>, Dark Blue<\/em> and most recently CBS\u2019s upcoming drama Training Day<\/em>.
