Olmstead joined UCP as executive VP of development in January 2014. She was a key player in the development of <em>Mr. Robot<\/em>, USA Network\u2019s Golden Globe-winning drama, and Syfy\u2019s <em>The Magicians<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDawn is, quite simply, one of the best in the business,\u201d said Jeff Wachtel, the chief content officer for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and president, Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios. \u201cShe\u2019s been instrumental in elevating UCP\u2019s profile and making it a \u2018go-to\u2019 studio for prominent industry players as well as up-and-coming talent.
