Forman, previously CEO of Relativity TV, will serve as CEO and will partner with industry veteran Andrew Marcus, former president of Relativity TV, who will serve as president and COO of Critical Content. The company is launching with $75 million in growth capital to fuel the expansion of its business.<\/p>\n<p>Critical Content currently has 50-plus projects in production for more than 30 different networks. Series include <em>Limitless<\/em> (CBS), <em>Home Free<\/em> (FOX), <em>Catfish<\/em> (MTV), <em>The Woodsmen<\/em> (HISTORY), <em>Pretty.Strong.<\/em> (Oxygen), <em>Boonies<\/em> (Nat Geo), <em>The Great Food Truck Race<\/em> (Food Network), <em>Tia Mowry at Home<\/em> (Cooking Channel) and <em>Car Matchmaker<\/em> (Esquire).<\/p>\n<p>Initially, Critical Content will expand upon the company\u2019s existing \u201cPod Model,\u201d whereby producers receive capital investment and access to infrastructure to supercharge their development and production capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s never been a more exciting, more fulfilling, and more dynamic time to do what we do: create great content,\u201d Forman said. \u201cWith only a few remaining truly independent production companies, we are well positioned to capitalize on a historic time in the entertainment industry.
