\n\tLONDON: Emmy-nominated producer Andrew Stearn has been named president of U.S. operations at Working Title Television, a joint venture between NBCUniversal International Studios and co-chairmen Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.<\/p>\n
\n\tBased in Los Angeles, Stearn will establish a pipeline of high-end scripted drama. He will collaborate with Bevan and Fellner, as well as Liza Chasin, the president of U.S. production; JoAnn Alfano, the executive VP of scripted programming; and Michael Edelstein, the president of NBCUniversal International Studios. Stearn will work with a variety of writers, producers and directors, occasionally co-producing with broadcasters on both sides of the Atlantic. He is responsible for attracting and developing projects for Working Title Television U.S. that will be sold through NBCUniversal International Distribution.<\/p>\n
\n\tStearn served as an executive producer for Shameless<\/em> and a producer on The West Wing<\/em> and Third Watch<\/em>. He is an exec producer on the pilot for Animal Kingdom<\/em>, which is currently in production for TNT. He also executive produced Southland<\/em>. In addition, Stearn worked with John Wells on developing such projects as Citizen Baines <\/em>and Presidio Med<\/em>. He also produced the action drama Jonny Zero<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tBevan and Fellner commented: "We are delighted that Andrew is joining Working Title TV.
