\n\tKNOXVILLE: Brooke Johnson, the president of Scripps Networks Interactive’s food lifestyle brands including Food Network and Cooking Channel, has decided to retire after more than 12 years with the company.<\/p>\n
\n\tJohnson joined Food Network in 2003, overseeing the creation of programming franchises such as Chopped<\/em>, Cutthroat Kitchen<\/em>, Food Network Star<\/em> and the Emmy nominated series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives<\/em>. Under her leadership, Food Network expanded into branded products, launching Food Network Magazine<\/em>. Johnson has also overseen the expansion of the food category’s digital footprint through a series of apps and web offerings.<\/p>\n \n\t“Brooke Johnson has been one of the key driving forces behind the success of Food Network since she joined the company,” said Kenneth W.
