\n\tNEW YORK: AMC Networks has restructured its AMC Studios operation to function as a stand-alone unit, which will be led by Rick Olshansky and Stefan Reinhardt.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe move is part of AMC Networks' push to own more of the content that airs on its networks. It is also meant to help build on the opportunities associated with the company's increasing international footprint. The newly restructured AMC Studios operation will now oversee production and business-affairs functions across AMC and SundanceTV.<\/p>\n
\n\tOlshansky, AMC's current head of business affairs, and Reinhardt, AMC Networks' senior VP of finance and studio operations, will be serving as co-heads of the in-house studio. Both will report to Charlie Collier, the president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. Olshansky is based and Los Angeles and Reinhardt in New York.<\/p>\n
