\n\tLOS ANGELES: This year’s American Film Market, which is set to take place in November, has added two new conferences to its schedule, one on China and the other on the festival circuit.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe AFM China Conference is slated for the afternoon of November 6. It will present leaders from all sectors of China’s film industry as they explore and reveal how producing, marketing and distributing in China differs from the West. Then on November 9, the AFM Festival Conference will provide a thorough understanding of how to work with and position festivals in a film’s production and marketing strategy. FilmFreeway is sponsoring that session.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe AFM Conference Series will run from November 6 to 10 and will also include conferences on finance, pitching, production and distribution. The AFM will take place at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel while the Conference Series will be held at Santa Monica’s Fairmont Miramar Hotel.<\/p>\n
