The agreement follows FXX&#039;s second-season pickup of <em>Man Seeking Woman<\/em>, which is based on Rich&#039;s book of short stories, <em>The Last Girlfriend on Earth<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&quot;Simon is one of the brightest and most innovative talents in television today,&quot; said Eric Schrier, co-president of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions. &quot;With <em>Man Seeking Woman<\/em>, he took the age-old story of looking for love and turned it on its head.
