Danny Chun (<em>The Office<\/em>) is writing the script and also serves as co-creator and EP alongside Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (<em>Trophy Wife<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>Beyond<\/em> is about a man who wakes up from a 12-year coma and discovers that he has supernatural abilities. The one-hour drama comes from Imperative Entertainment and Automatik. It is created, written and exec produced by Adam Nussdorf (<em>Once Upon a Time in Wonderland<\/em>), with Tim Kring (<em>Heroes<\/em>), Zak Kadison, Justin Levy and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones also serving as EPs.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;Quality comedies and epic adventures are key elements of our programming strategy,&rdquo; said Karey Burke, ABC Family&rsquo;s executive VP of programming and development. &ldquo;The teams behind these pilots have a history of creating amazing series in those genres, and I am thrilled to have them creating for ABC Family.&rdquo;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BURBANK: ABC Family is bolstering its original programming by giving the go-ahead to pilots for the comedy Gorgeous Morons and the supernatural drama Beyond.
