{"id":6216,"date":"2015-03-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-12T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/2015\/03\/12\/yahoo-expands-partnership-with-abc\/"},"modified":"2015-03-12T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-03-12T00:00:00","slug":"yahoo-expands-partnership-with-abc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/yahoo-expands-partnership-with-abc\/","title":{"rendered":"Yahoo Expands Partnership with ABC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tNEW YORK: Disney|ABC Television Group (DATG) and Yahoo are expanding their long-standing relationship, including a new daily series featuring Yahoo editors on <em>Good Morning America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTitled <em>Yahoo Your Day<\/em>, the new series will star editors and experts from the online service, including Yahoo Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee, Yahoo Beauty editor-in-chief Bobbi Brown, Yahoo Health editor-in-chief Michele Promaulayko and Yahoo Food editor-in-chief Kerry Diamond. Flickr images will be integrated into <em>Good Morning America<\/em>&rsquo;s weather reports, and Tumblr will be featured in the morning show&rsquo;s Social Square.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAdditionally, ABC News and Yahoo News will deepen their collaboration on major news events, including the 2016 presidential election, while content from Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric will be distributed across ABC News. The expanded collaboration will also see special clips from across DATG, including hit shows such as <em>Scandal<\/em>,<em> How to Get Away with Murder<\/em>, <em>Grey&rsquo;s Anatomy<\/em>, <em>Pretty Little Liars<\/em>, <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em>&nbsp;and <em>Dancing with the Stars,<\/em> made available on Yahoo Screen and Yahoo TV.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;Our partnership with Yahoo has thrived in the last three three years, creating and delivering to millions a rich blend of live breaking news, major special events, historic newsmaker interviews and compelling digital original series,&rdquo; said James Goldston, the president of ABC News. &ldquo;The combination of ABC News&rsquo; world-class journalism, DATG&rsquo;s hit programming and Yahoo&rsquo;s vast digital network, talent and technology is an unstoppable force.
