The Patriots&#039; final defeat over the Seahawks delivered 379,000 tweets per minute. The end of Katy Perry&#039;s halftime performance drew 284,000 tweets per minute. In total, the halftime show had Twitter buzzing with more than 3 million tweets.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn preliminary viewing figures, the game delivered the highest overnight rating in Super Bowl history on NBC with 49.7\/72. NBC&#039;s Super Bowl XLIX overnight peaked at a 52.9\/73.
