\n\tLONDON: Syfy in the U.S. is set to air the street magic series Close Up Kings<\/em>, thanks to a deal brokered by Entertainment One.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 8×1-hour series is co-produced by Zig Zag Productions and Yap Films. The show features three best friends from New York City who are all sleight-of-hand artists. The trio travels around the U.S. taking on different challenges and attempting to outperform each other.<\/p>\n

\n\tZig Zag Productions' CEO, Danny Fenton, said: “Magic programming is very much en vogue and we believe the key to creating internationally successful shows in this genre is to constantly try to reinvent what a magic show should be. Close Up Kings<\/em> is unique in that the series is as much about three buddies having fun on the road as the incredible close up illusions they create on their journey.”<\/p>\n
