\n\tLOS ANGELES: Marielle Zuccarelli, most recently the managing director of international content distribution at A+E Networks, has been hired as the executive VP of international distribution at Sonar Entertainment.<\/p>\n
\n\tZuccarelli will manage Sonar’s international sales team, based in London, Munich, Madrid and Sydney. She is responsible for developing sales strategies for all Sonar programming and will oversee both linear and digital international program sales. Zuccarelli will also seek out acquisitions and opportunities for co-financing international productions.<\/p>\n
\n\tPrior to her time at A+E Networks, Zuccarelli was the president of international distribution at GRB Entertainment.<\/p>\n
\n\t“Marielle’s mastery of the business of international television is enormously impressive,” said Gene Stein, the CEO of Sonar Entertainment, to whom Zuccarelli reports. “She has built a huge network that extends to virtually every worldwide territory and she navigates with complete ease across different cultures and languages. She is a terrific addition and we are excited to welcome her to the team.”
