The one-hour show is set to begin airing on January 16 at 8 p.m. January will also see the final 13-episode season of <em>Glee<\/em> debuting on FOX with a special two-hour event on January 9 at 8 p.m. <em>Backstrom<\/em>, a new offbeat crime procedural starring Rainn Wilson (<em>The Office<\/em>), will premiere on January 22 at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFor later in 2015, FOX has lined up <em>The Last Man On Earth<\/em>, an end-of-the-world comedy exec produced, created by and starring Will Forte (<em>Nebraska<\/em>), and <em>Weird Loners<\/em>, a new ensemble comedy from writer Michael J. Weithorn (<em>The King of Queens<\/em>). The former will kick off with two back-to-back episodes on March 1 at 9 p.m., while the latter is slated for March 31 at 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tReturning shows debuting this winter will include <em>MasterChef Junior<\/em>, <em>New Girl<\/em> and <em>The Mindy Project<\/em>, with new episodes of each due to begin airing on January 6 at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively. <em>American Idol XIV<\/em> will make its season premiere on January 7 at 8 p.m. before moving to Thursday nights on January 22. <em>The Following<\/em> is coming back for a third season with a special two-hour event on March 2 at 8 p.m. That show will then return to its regular 9 p.m. time slot the next week.
