\n\tLOS ANGELES: FOX is bringing back the quiz show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?<\/em>, with comedian Jeff Foxworthy returning as host.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show tests adults' lack of knowledge in subjects commonly taught in grammar school to see how much they've forgotten. The adults have the opportunity to get some help from real grade-schoolers, who will offer what they think is the correct answer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show originally launched in 2007 and ran for three seasons before heading into syndication. Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? <\/em>is executive produced by Mark Burnett<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t"Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?<\/em> shares so much DNA with the FOX brand that it feels only natural to return it to the schedule—it's smart, witty, irreverent and it turns the adult\/child power dynamic upside-down," said Simon Andreae<\/a>, the executive VP of alternative programming at Fox Broadcasting Company. "All of the core components of the classic format will be there, but we are also adding new twists that make it fresher and more fun for viewers."<\/p>\n
