Roberts as chief digital officer and promoting Kesila Childers to VP of BMP Digital.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRoberts, most recently senior VP of digital media and commercial ventures at Endemol, will lead the BMP Digital division for the Banijay Group-owned company. The exec will focus on increasing the company&rsquo;s digital productions, including multiplatform and digital programming for the web, mobile devices and other online and connected device distribution platforms. He will also explore digital business and investment opportunities that will drive BMP forward in the marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;With our continued commitment to innovation and engaging, groundbreaking storytelling, we are thrilled to bring John on board to lead BMP Digital,&rdquo; said Gil Goldschein, the president of Bunim\/Murray Productions. &ldquo;His extensive experience in digital and multiplatform production will help us continue to grow our digital initiatives and overall media footprint and extend our brands across multiple platforms.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;Bunim\/Murray is the best in the business when it comes to storytelling,&rdquo; Roberts added. &ldquo;They laid the foundation for unscripted TV and were pioneers in shining a spotlight on relatable, everyday people. This created the groundwork for much of the content that&rsquo;s thriving on digital platforms today. My goal is to continue to build momentum and guide BMP Digital to the next level of content creation across all platforms, including video, games and social media.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMeanwhile, Childers will continue to oversee digital extensions for on-air properties such as <em>The Real World<\/em>, <em>The Challenge<\/em>, <em>Best Ink <\/em>and<em> Bad Girls Club<\/em>, as well as original digital content and social media initiatives.
