The film will also expose&nbsp;the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain a clean image.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRobin Lippin, the original series&rsquo; casting director, has cast the film&rsquo;s stars. Dylan Everett (<em>Degrassi: The Next Generation<\/em>) is set to star as Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played the role of the mischievous ringleader Zack Morris in the original. Other parts include Sam Kindseth (<em>Shameless<\/em>) as Dustin Diamond, known for his role as the geeky Screech; Julian Works (<em>Paranormal Activity<\/em>) as Mario Lopez, who played the jock A.C. Slater; Alyssa Lynch (<em>The High Jumping Witch<\/em>) as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, called America&#039;s sweetheart for her role as Kelly Kapowski; Tiera Skovbye (<em>Supernatural<\/em>) taking on the role of Elizabeth Berkley and her character Jessie Spano; and Taylor Russell McKenzie (<em>Blink<\/em>) as Lark Voorhies and her onscreen persona Lisa Turtle.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFront Street Pictures and Ringaling Productions are making the movie for the network.
