Zone3 Opens U.S. Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tMONTREAL: Zone3, which is behind productions such as <em>Match Game <\/em>and <em>God, Guns &amp; Automobiles<\/em>, has opened an office in New York, appointing Julian Locke as executive VP and head of U.S. operations.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe company currently has several projects in development for both Canadian and U.S. broadcasters, and is looking to create and produce even more English-language TV programming.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLocke was formerly on the senior management team of Leopard Films UK, and was instrumental in its growth in the U.S. Executive producers Michael Kronish and Isabelle-Anouk Bourduas will team up with Locke, and together they will form the unit responsible for English-language productions.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;By having a presence in the United States, we want to speed up our growth,&rdquo; said Michel Bissonnette, the president of Zone3. &ldquo;Julian has my full trust. His creative sense and his management abilities will allow him, I am certain, to reach the objectives that we have established.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\tLocke commented, &ldquo;Zone3 is known for the great quality of its productions and its creativity. I am certain that the company has all that it takes to secure an enviable position in the United States and in the English-Canadian market.
