Screenings: New from Disney Media Distribution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tLOS ANGELES: Among the new series being screened by Disney Media Distribution (DMD) in Los Angeles is <em>How to Get Away with Murder<\/em>, which comes from Shonda Rhimes.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>How to Get Away with Murder <\/em>is set for ABC&#039;s fall lineup, on Thursday nights paired with Rhimes&#039; <em>Grey&#039;s Anatomy <\/em>and <em>Scandal<\/em>. DMD is also presenting <em>Marvel&#039;s Agent Carter<\/em>, which is on ABC&#039;s midseason schedule. The series is inspired by the feature films <em>Captain America: The First Avenger<\/em> and <em>Captain America: The Winter Soldier<\/em>, along with the short <em>Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDMD&#039;s <em>Black-ish<\/em>, a comedy starring Anthony Anderson, is set for ABC for its Wednesday comedy lineup, getting a lead-in from <em>Modern Family<\/em>. The ABC midseason musical comedy fairy tale <em>Galavant <\/em>is about a fallen hero as he tries to restore his &quot;happily ever after.&quot; The romantic comedy <em>Manhattan Love Story<\/em>, set for ABC&#039;s Tuesday night lineup, features a couple who just started dating and explores the differences between men and women.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe studio is also going to be screening the ABC midseason series <em>The Whispers<\/em>, which has a supernatural bend to it; <em>Secrets and Lies<\/em>, based on an Australian series of the same name; and <em>American Crime<\/em>, a gritty drama told from the point of view of the victims.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>Red Band Society<\/em>, another DMD highlight, is set for Wednesdays on FOX.
