\n\tNEW YORK: Five new dramas, two event series, four comedies and one unscripted show join FOX's 2014-15 schedule, which sees Gotham <\/em>airing on Mondays and Brooklyn Nine-Nine <\/em>moving to Sundays.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Batman prequel Gotham <\/em>is paired on Monday nights with the returning Sleepy Hollow<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tTuesdays kick off with the new unscripted series Utopia<\/em>, which is based on the Dutch hit of the same name. New Girl <\/em>and The Mindy Project <\/em>round out the Tuesday lineup.<\/p>\n

\n\tWednesdays see Hell's Kitchen <\/em>airing in the 8 p.m. hour, followed by the newcomer Red Band Society<\/em>, starring Octavia Spencer and from Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television.<\/p>\n

\n\tBones <\/em>returns in an 8 p.m. time slot on Thursdays, to be followed by the freshman series Gracepoint<\/em>, starring David Tennant and Anna Gunn.<\/p>\n

\n\tFridays feature the return of MasterChef Junior<\/em>, then a second night for Utopia<\/em>, which will air at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Sunday schedule, once home to the Animation Domination <\/em>block, has been revamped a bit. The animated series Bob's Burgers<\/em>, The Simpsons <\/em>and Family Guy <\/em>are all returning, but the comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine <\/em>has moved into the 8:30 p.m. time slot. New to the FOX schedule is Mulaney<\/em>, which is set for 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. The comedy stars writer and comedian John Mulaney (Saturday Night Live<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2015, there are three dramas, three comedies and an event series. From Lee Daniels (The Butler<\/em>) comes Empire<\/em>, which stars Terrence Howard. There's also the epic fantasy series Hieroglyph<\/em>, set in the world of ancient Egypt, and the offbeat comedic crime procedural Backstrom<\/em>, featuring Rainn Wilson of The Office<\/em>. M. Night Shyamalan's Wayward <\/em>Pines <\/em>will serve as an event centerpiece. Comedies in the 2015 lineup include Weird Loners<\/em>, about four single 30something underdogs who form an unlikely bond while living in a Queens, NY, townhouse. Created by and starring Will Forte is The Last Man on Earth<\/em>, about the life and adventures of the last man on Earth. There's a new animated comedy from Family Guy<\/em>'s Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane, Bordertown<\/em>. Returning series for 2015 include another season of American Idol<\/em>, The Following<\/em> and Glee<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso announced for the 2014-15 season are some live specials. This includes Jump of the Century <\/em>(working title), set to mark the 40th anniversary of Evel Knievel's attempt to jump across Idaho's Snake River Canyon. Professional stuntman Eddie Braun and daredevil Big Ed Beckley are hoping to achieve what Knievel could not. Music superstar Pitbull is set to ring in the New Year live for FOX with Pitbull's New Year's Revolution <\/em>(working title). The network has also planned Grease Live <\/em>(working title), which will be a three-hour production of the popular crossover musical.<\/p>\n
