\n\tLOS ANGELES: This fall, HBO is slated to broadcast new episodes of The Comeback<\/em>, a comedy that aired for one season on the network in 2005.<\/p>\n

\n\tStarring Lisa Kudrow<\/a> (Friends<\/em>), The Comeback <\/em>centers on a former TV star who is desperate to extend her 15 minutes of fame. Additional cast members will include Lance Barber, Dan Bucatinsky, Robert Michael Morris, Laura Silverman and Damian Young. The six-episode limited series kicks off production in Los Angeles this month. It is created by Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City<\/em>) and Kudrow, both of whom are also exec producing.<\/p>\n

\n\t"The Comeback<\/em> holds a special place in the hearts of its many fans, including many of us here at HBO," remarked Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO Programming. "I can’t wait to find out what Valerie's been up to since we last met."<\/p>\n

\n\t"I'm so excited to be working with Valerie Cherish again," said King. "It's great to be able to continue her story and I'm thrilled to have The Comeback<\/em> come back to HBO, where it all started."<\/p>\n
