\n\tNEW YORK: Betsy Schechter, who has been working in the TV industry for nearly two decades, has set up a New York-based production company focused on TV, film, branded and multimedia outlets.<\/p>\n
\n\tStoryville Entertainment is already working on a music-based documentary series for MTV International. It is also in development on non-scripted and scripted projects for A&E, TNT, H2 and others. Storyville is also working on a scripted series with Jason Blum, the producer of the Paranormal Activity <\/em>franchise.<\/p>\n \n\tSchechter will serve as president. She has experience producing across all genres, including five seasons of the hit Paranormal State<\/em>. Caroline Christopher has been tapped as VP of development and production. Christopher will oversee Storyville’s development team, creating nonfiction series, specials and branded content.
