\n\tWASHINGTON, D.C.: The Museum of Science Fiction has entered into a partnership with Science Channel, which becomes the exclusive media sponsor of the museum.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs part of the deal, Science Channel will provide video content for museum exhibits, promotional support and will be given a physical presence inside the museum. The network and the museum will also work together on joint events, including Awesome Con, in Washington, D.C. and around the country.<\/p>\n

\n\t"We are delighted by the prospect of working with the Science Channel to help the Museum of Science Fiction fuel a cycle of imagination to reality, and to continue driving interest in our plan to create a new attraction for the Washington, D.C. area," said Greg Viggiano, the executive director for the Museum of Science Fiction. "The Science Channel's programming is a perfect reflection of key aspects of our mission: to create a center of gravity where art and science are powered by imagination. As we move forward with the Science Channel as our partner, we'll be able to better explore the history of the genre while providing a narrative on its relationship with science, culture and society."<\/p>\n
