Rounding out the top 10 are, in order, <em>The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, <em>Grey&#039;s Anatomy<\/em>, <em>Survivor<\/em>, <em>The Voice <\/em>and <em>Revolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFor regularly scheduled programming, omitting sports-related programming, <em>NCIS <\/em>was the top prime-time TV program of 2013, with an average of 14.75 million viewers. <em>Dancing with the Stars <\/em>was also high on the list, with 13.86 million average viewers. <em>American Idol <\/em>averaged 13.38 million viewers with its Wednesday broadcasts and 13.14 for its Thursday broadcasts. <em>The Big Bang Theory <\/em>had an average of 13.2 million viewers for 2013. <em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em>&#039; results show made the top 10, drawing an average viewership of 12.89 million.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tA first for Nielsen&#039;s Top 10 list is the inclusion of social ranks, with Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings (NTTR) Top Series of Fall 2013. The ratings, which began in September, place AMC&rsquo;s <em>Breaking Bad <\/em>at the top of the list, with an average of 6 million people viewing Tweets about each new episode of the program. Another AMC series, <em>The Walking Dead<\/em>, was number two, with activity of around 4.9 million people. <em>American Horror Story: Coven <\/em>and <em>Scandal <\/em>also generated significant buzz via Twitter. Rounding out the top 5 is <em>Dancing With the Stars<\/em>.
