\n\tENGLEWOOD: A Federal Judge has denied ABC’s efforts to bar DISH subscribers from using the PrimeTime Anytime and AutoHop features on the Hopper Whole-Home HD DVR.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe controversial PrimeTime Anytime feature, which have drawn the ire of the U.S. broadcast networks, provide users the ability to easily record prime-time shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX and save them for up to eight days. The AutoHop feature enables users to play back certain PrimeTime Anytime records without commercials starting the day after broadcast.<\/p>\n
\n\tR. Stanton Dodge, DISH’s executive VP and general counsel, said: “This decision is yet another victory for American consumers, and we are proud to have stood by their side in this important fight over the fundamental rights of consumer choice and control.<\/p>\n
