BEVERLY HILLS: MTV has a new one-hour feature documentary that follows Miley Cyrus as she works on her new album, as well as several other newly announced projects. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Produced by the MTV News and Docs team, the doc will premiere this fall on MTV. It shines a light on the transformation that Cyrus has made over the last few years. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, MTV unveiled the pilot pickups of comedies Faking It <\/em>(working title) and Happyland <\/em>(working title). Faking It <\/em>is about two friends who will do almost anything to fit in and be popular in high school, including pretending to be something they are not. Happyland <\/em>is a soapy teen comedy about the employees of one of the country’s most popular theme parks. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The network also announced that its docu-series Generation Cryo <\/em>is debuting in November, while Nurses <\/em>(working title) is also set for a fall launch. Generation Cryo <\/em>is a one-hour docu-drama about the issues faced by a new generation of kids who were conceived via anonymous sperm donors. Nurses <\/em>is a new docu-series about a group of travel nurses assigned to work at an Orange County hospital. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MTV has renewed Snooki & JWOWW <\/em>and Awkward<\/em>. The new seasons will air on MTV channels around the world in 2014. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
