Abrams as the main reason for tuning in.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&quot;They think he&#8217;s going to be more invested in that one rather than just producing it,&quot; says Sean Reckwerdt, lead television analyst at Networked Insights. &quot;And they like that the secondary showrunner [Bryan Burk] on that is one of the guys from <em>Fringe<\/em>.&quot; There were, meanwhile, a few negative comments, with some saying the show &quot;seems a little derivative&mdash;they were joking about how it&#8217;s an <em>I, Robot<\/em>, sequel and asked where Will Smith is.&quot;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Sleepy Hollow<\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"> is generating interest for its unique premise as well as ex-<em>Fringe<\/em> execs Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. &quot;On the weaker side there&#8217;s some concern that it&#8217;s a little hokey,&quot; Reckwerdt says.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Us &amp; Them<\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"> is in the &quot;middle of the pack,&quot; Reckwerdt notes. Cast member Alexis Bledel has a strong social-media following and there is in general goodwill towards <em>Gavin &amp; Stacey<\/em>, the British sitcom on which <em>Us &amp; Them<\/em> is based. However, the success of shows like this is based heavily on the quality of the ensemble cast, Reckwerdt says. Plus, &quot;there&#8217;s a huge backlash against remaking BBC shows.&quot;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Surviving Jack <\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">was at the bottom end of the social-media rankings, in part due to the failure of the last comedy based on a Justin Halpern book&mdash;CBS&#8217;s <em>$#*!
