NEW YORK: AMC has secured a two-year tie-up with Scott Free Productions for the development and production of scripted cable projects for the network. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This marks the first time that Scott Free has entered into a first-look pact with a cable network to produce TV projects. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are already a few pieces in development, including an untitled project from executive producer and writer Jason Cahill (Fringe<\/em>, The Sopranos<\/em>) and executive producer Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead<\/em>). The "Untitled Cahill\/Nicotero\/Scott Free Project" is a one-hour futuristic sci-fi saga. Also in development are Raiders<\/em>, from executive producer and writer Evan Wright (Generation Kill<\/em>), and The Terror<\/em>, from writer and co-executive producer David Kajganich (The Invasion<\/em>, Blood Creek<\/em>). Raiders <\/em>is a one-hour WWII Drama. The Terror<\/em>, which was announced back in February, is based on a novel and is set in 1847. It is about the crew of a Royal Naval expedition to find the Arctic’s Northwest Passage. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
