NEW YORK: Nancy Dubuc, the president of entertainment and media for A+E Networks, has been upped to president and CEO of the company, succeeding Abbe Raven, who becomes chairman. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dubuc will now be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, which includes HISTORY, Lifetime and A&E, among others. She takes up the president and CEO role on June 1, at the same time as Raven enters her new post as the chairman of A+E Networks. In her new role, Raven will be leading the company’s long-term business and revenue opportunities, along with public policy initiatives. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Raven and Dubuc will report to the A+E board of directors; Dubuc will also report to Raven. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“I am delighted that our next president and CEO has been chosen from within our own ranks once again," Raven said. “Nancy is one of the most talented executives working in media today—a decisive leader, with her hallmark drive and determination.
