Also coming to MIPTV is a second season of <em>Magic<\/em> <em>City<\/em>, which will launch in the U.S. this summer. A new slate of TV movies will be on offer as well, including the female thriller <em>Revenge<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;For series, we look at historical and period pieces that allow the viewer to be [transported] and taken to another era,&rdquo; says Gene George, the company&rsquo;s executive VP of worldwide distribution. &ldquo;Our movies fill a specific need in specific genres that are highly sought after due to playability and strong ratings potential.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CANNES: MIPTV marks the first time that the new Starz original series The White Queen, produced in association with the BBC, will be showcased to the international market.
