It&nbsp;is created by&nbsp;Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer, a married couple, who are also serving as executive producers and directors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The 13-episode new season of <em>The League<\/em> is set to debut in the fall, with production planned to commence in the summer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&quot;<em>The League<\/em> is flat-out one of the funniest shows on television,&quot; said&nbsp;Nick Grad, the executive VP of original programming for FX Networks. &quot;Co-creators Jeff and Jackie Schaffer have such a perfect take on the material and the show has an amazingly talented ensemble cast of stars.
