LOS ANGELES: Shine America and Jack Black’s Electric Dynamite Productions are collaborating on the new online comedy series Ghost Ghirls<\/em>, which will be an exclusive for Yahoo! Screen. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Black along with Jake Johnson, Molly Shannon, Jason Schwartzman and a host of other celebrities are lined up to make cameos in the show. Production is already under way on the 12-episode series, which is slated for launch in spring 2013. The show follows the antics of two young female ghostbusters who are attempting to solve the mysteries behind paranormal phenomena. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vivi Zigler, the president of Shine 360° & Digital at Shine America, said, “Ghost Ghirls <\/em>is a rare creative concept that brings together some of Hollywood’s best and established, as well as up-and-coming performers and storytellers. It’s a very funny ride and we believe Yahoo! is the perfect partner to help us garner wide exposure for this special series.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
