NEW YORK: BBC America and BBC World News are getting increased distribution through Time Warner Cable systems in the U.S. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BBC World News joins the digital basic package in Time Warner Cable systems. This brings increased distribution in several cities. The channel will reach 25 million full-time homes in the U.S. after its Time Warner Cable launches. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Time Warner Cable will also increase BBC America’s reach and provide further access to its programming. The channel is gearing up for the January debut of Ripper Street <\/em>and the new original series Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s been a record-breaking year for BBC America, as our iconic sci-fi series Doctor Who <\/em>has reached new heights and we’ve created new original programming, including Copper<\/em>, our highest-rated series premiere ever,” said Sandy Ashendorf, the executive VP of network distribution at BBC Worldwide America. “We’re excited to expand BBC America’s partnership with Time Warner Cable and launch BBC World News, which has seen record distribution growth in the past year.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
