SANTA MONICA: FEARnet has ordered a second season of Holliston<\/em>, an original horror comedy series starring Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Laura Ortiz and Corri English.
\n<\/font><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Holliston<\/em>—about two friends trying to become horror movie filmmakers—is produced by Adam Green’s ArieScope Pictures in association with Hacienda Films and A Bigger Boat Productions. Season two will include an animated episode and is going to feature guest appearances from celebrities such as Kane Hodder, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig and Danielle Harris, to name a few.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Production has commenced in Los Angeles for Holliston<\/em>‘s second season, which will contain 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on FEARnet next spring. A one-hour holiday special is set to air in late 2012.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

"Holliston<\/em> fits in perfectly with our curated content, both on the linear TV channel and VOD schedule, as it melds horror fans with horror films and produces horrifyingly funny results."

"Holliston<\/em> is my own unique take on the traditional multi-camera sitcom, drawing upon experiences from my life and examining that time when you’re fresh out of college, everything is about the struggle, and nothing ever works out like they said it would," remarked series creator and show runner Adam Green. "We were overjoyed by how quickly fans of both comedy and genre films embraced the show, and are thrilled with the strong attachments that fans have quickly developed for these characters and for this cast."
