BURBANK: ABC Family has ordered additional seasons of original series such as Melissa & Joey<\/em>, Baby Daddy<\/em> and Switched at Birth<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The network has taken on a third season of Melissa & Joey<\/em>, a comedy about a councilwoman raising her niece and nephew with a live-in male nanny. ABC Family also ordered a second seasons of Baby Daddy<\/em>, a comedy about a bachelor who finds out he is a father; and Switched at Birth<\/em>, a drama about two families who discover they have been raising each other’s biological children due to a hospital error.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the network has picked up more episodes of Bunheads<\/em>, a comedy-drama about a Las Vegas showgirl who becomes a dance teacher in a small town.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These shows will premiere on ABC Family in the winter and spring. The network previously announced that it is going to air a Beverly Hills Nannies<\/em> reunion special on September 4.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

"The new series have resonated with our viewers, and the combination of drama, comedy and reality brings great depth to our lineup. Our stable of strong series continues to grow, and I’m thrilled with the strength of our schedule."<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
